Only listed authors can present posters.  

Can changes/updates be made to the abstract? How is that done?  
Unfortunately, changes cannot be made once an abstract is submitted. However, you may update your final poster if there are no significant changes to your results and conclusion.

What is the copyright and embargo policy?

Does CNS accept encore abstracts?
Abstracts that have not been presented previously are preferred, but abstracts will be considered if they have only been presented at one national/international conference within the last 12 months prior to submission (April 27, 2025). Authors must identify the previous presentation venue, verifying the work was presented before a substantially different audience.

Where will abstracts be published?
All accepted abstracts will be published in the Annals of Neurology – October 2025 supplement.

What is the withdrawal policy?
Abstracts can be withdrawn at anytime during the submission period. No abstracts can be withdrawn after July 11th. Requests for withdrawal must be sent to the CNS National Office (nationaloffice@childneurologysociety.org).

What is the size of the poster? Is there a template?  
Poster sizes as well as a template will be posted to the website closer to submission dates.

What is the poster drop off and pickup times?

What is the best practice for logos?
When placing a logo on a scientific abstract poster, the CNS practice for logo size is:

• Size: The logo should be 2-3 inches wide, which is approximately 5-10% of the poster’s width.
• Resolution: Use a high-resolution logo (minimum 300 DPI) to ensure clarity.
• Placement: Position the logo at the top of the poster—top left or top right.
• White Space: Maintain ample white space around the logo to keep it distinct from other elements.

This balance ensures the logo is visible and professional and does not detract from the poster’s scientific content.
