USANZ Annual Scientific Meeting
The USANZ Annual Scientific Meeting is the Society's cornerstone event and has become the premier event in the southern hemisphere for all health professionals specialising in urology.

The meeting is usually held over four days, from Saturday to Tuesday, at the beginning of the calendar year, between late February and mid-April.

The USANZ Annual Scientific Meeting It is a multidisciplinary meeting, inviting participation from doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and scientists working in urology both locally and internationally with the program covering the various subspecialties within urology including Uro-ONcology, Bladder and Kidney Cancers, Robotics, Female Urology, Reconstructive Urology, Paediatrics, Andrology and Sexual Medicine, Endourology and, Functional Urology.

Welcome Message from the 2025 USANZ ASM Convenor

It is my pleasure to welcome you to attend the 2025 USANZ ASM to be held in Perth,
Australia on March 1-4 2025…. Welcome to Wadjuk country.

… Together Through Understanding

Along with Trenton Barrett, the 2025 ASM Scientific Committee Chair, and the ANZUNS
organising committee of Julie Sykes (ANZUNS Meeting Convenor) and Jane Neve
(ANZUNS Meeting Scientific Program Chair), we look forward to hosting a highly memorable and educational annual meeting.

USANZ 2025 will be held at The Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre (PCEC) located on
the Swan River waterfront next to Elizabeth Quay. A selection of internationally renowned
speakers from around the world is being assembled to interact with our local community in
Australia and New Zealand, to update and inform our delegates on the latest developments
in urological surgery, clinical and scientific research, and the future of patient care.

The PCEC is a short walk from the heart of our picturesque city, and the adjoining public
transport hub allowing easy access to all of Perth’s famous sights, vibrant city streets,
shopping, entertainment, and dining opportunities. An array of local activities for young and
old are close by. Visit the Perth Zoo, Crown Precinct, Kings Park – Karrgatup, the New State
Museum, our wonderful beaches and of course Fremantle-Walyalup, only a short distance
away by foot, bike, car or ferry. Zip line across the Swan River, spend a day taking the
gourmand route through the Swan Valley, go mountain biking along the trails in the Perth
hills, catch the ferry to Rottnest – Wadjemup for the day or visit the Fremantle Prison and do
the nocturnal underground canal tour. Learn about Wadjuk Nyoongar culture in Kings Park
or go further afield to Northam – you can even try hot air ballooning while you’re there, or
stay longer and visit the Margaret River wine region and our beautiful south-west. With so
many activities to choose from, you and your family will be sure to enjoy what this city has to
offer.

Finally, the ASM committee wishes you and your loved ones a wonderful 2024 and stay
