2022年世界胃肠病学大会(WCOG 2022)将于2022年12月12日至14日在阿联酋迪拜举行，本次会议由世界胃肠病学组织（WGO）和阿联酋胃肠病与肝病学会（EGHS）联合组织。WCOG从1958年在美国华盛顿召开的第一届世界大会开始，每四年举办一次。传统上，WCOG在美洲、欧洲和亚太地区三个地区之间轮换。在2017年之后，WCOG地区轮换正式扩大到非洲、中东地区，WCOG也将从2019年的会议开始，每两年举行一次。
世界胃肠病学组织（WGO）成立于1958年，原名为胃肠病学组织（Organisation Mondiale de Gastro-entérologie - OMGE），2007年更名为世界胃肠病学组织（WGO）。WGO是由超过100个成员协会和4个区域胃肠病学协会组成的联合会，代表全球超过50,000名个人成员，宗旨是在全球范围内提升胃肠病学、肝脏病学、内镜和其他相关学科的培训、教育与实践水平；提高全球公众对胃肠道和肝脏疾病的认识；为世界各地从事胃肠道疾病和肝脏疾病的医疗、护理和其他医疗保健的专业人士宣提供独立的和高质量的教育机会；鼓励促进改善消化系统健康的教育、研究和培训方面的国际合作，特别是在发展中国家；促进对消化系统肿瘤的初级预防、筛查、早期发现和最佳护理的多学科方法；制定和传播胃肠病学和肝病学临床实践中重要全球性问题的全球指南；促进对胃肠病学和肝病学实践各方面的伦理学研究；与所有对胃肠和肝脏疾病感兴趣的组织，包括护理、其他医护人员和患者倡导组织紧密合作；促进胃肠病学和肝病学组织的建立，鼓励他们成为WGO的成员；定期向其成员传达WGO的战略计划、活动和成果等。未经许可禁止复制摘录转载本站任何内容-国际医学会议网（lingyuint.com）。

Guidelines for submitting an abstract :
A special criterion for accepting abstracts will be their topic as well as structure, content and degree of innovation. The scientific committee will accept abstracts based on their relevance and quality, structure, content and degree of innovation.
- Please note that a maximum of 300 words is permitted. The titles and the names of the authors are excluded from this number and have to be entered separately. Tables should not be included in the abstract body.
- Methods section should include type of statistical analysis done if applicable to the study.
- Statements like “Results will be discussed” are not acceptable and may lead to a rejection of the abstract.

This is the second time that EGHS partners with WGO and is proud and honored to hold the World Congress for the first time in the Middle East, WCOG 2022 from 12-14 December 2022.

Cancellation Terms
- If a registered delegate cannot attend the event, a substitute colleague may be accepted before 11 November 2022. After this date, cancellation fees apply.
- Requests for substitutions will only be accepted by e-mail to wcog2022@meetingmindsexperts.com, indicating the delegate registration ID and the name of the substitute.
- The substitute must be from the same organization.
- If a delegate has to cancel his/her registration before 11 November 2022, the full registration fee will be reimbursed (less USD 75 refund charge).
- 100% cancellation charges will be applied for cancellations received after 11 November 2022.
- No-shows will not qualify for a refund.
- Reimbursements and refunds will not be given for delegates who only partially attended the conference.
