Abstract Submissions

1. By submitting an abstract, you agree that the presenting author will register for the meeting at their own expense. Oral abstract presenters must register and attend in-person. ePosters/Educational Exhibits presenters may register for the virtual or in-person meeting format.
2. ASNR requires disclosure from all persons in control of content, including all authors on abstracts. When added to an abstract, all co-authors on your submission will be notified to log-in and complete their own disclosure form. Once all co-authors have submitted disclosure, you will be able to finalize your submission. You will not be able to finalize your submission until all authors and co-authors have completed their disclosure forms. If any disclosures cannot be submitted by the deadline, remove authors with missing disclosures and submit the abstract. Authors may be added after submission if disclosure is completed. Email education@asnr.org to add authors after the submission deadline.
3. Maximum length, including spaces, but excluding title, authors, and images: 2,500 characters (combined from all text fields).
4. The submission site allows uploading of a single JPG file with each submission. Only one graphic file may be submitted with each abstract. This single JPG can contain multiple images, graphics, and tables.
5. At least one reference is required, and up to five references may be included. References should be formatted according to AJNR author instructions.
6. DO NOT SUBMIT DUPLICATE ABSTRACTS IN MULTIPLE CATEGORIES OR SUBMISSION TYPES.
7. Changes can be made to submitted abstracts until the deadline.
8. ASNR encourages presenters to submit manuscripts based on their work to the American Journal of Neuroradiology or Neurographics before considering other journals.

Message from the ASNR23 Program Chair

It brings me great pleasure to invite you to join us for the 61st Annual Meeting of the American Society of Neuroradiology being held April 29-May 3, 2023, in Chicago, IL. We are planning for another hybrid meeting to accommodate attendees both in-person at the Sheraton Grand Chicago and virtually.

Given the rapidly changing environment we find ourselves working in, it seems fitting that the theme for the 2023 Annual Meeting is Transforming the Future of Neuroradiology. We are planning an #ASNR23 that will showcase and educate members on the many new and exciting directions our field is moving, from advances in research to educational and practice innovations.

In person or virtually, #ASNR23 will provide all attendees the opportunity to learn the most up-to-date, best practices in neuroradiology through invited lectures, oral and electronic research presentations, and exhibits. As always, we will have dedicated specialty programming from the ASFNR, ASHNR, ASPNR, ASSR, and SNIS. Other planned topics include novel training methods, shifting paradigms in career paths, and exploring new treatment systems. “Reunion Night” will be returning on Monday, May 1, and many other social activities are planned to allow for attendees to connect with colleagues.

As a host city, Chicago in the spring is uniquely beautiful. Situated right on the Chicago River in the heart of the River North district, the Sheraton Grand Chicago offers attendees the perfect “home base” to head out and easily explore all of the shopping, dining and theater experiences Chicago has to offer.
