2024年第11届亚洲儿科感染性疾病大会(ACPID)将于2024年12月13-15日在中国香港举行,会议由香港儿童过敏免疫及传染病学会与亚洲儿科感染性疾病学会(ASPID)联合举办。亚洲儿科感染性疾病大会(ACPID)是亚太地区儿科感染性疾病领域最具影响力的会议,每两年举办一次,每届会议都有千余名来自世界各地的专业人士参会,大会对宣促进亚洲儿童感染性疾病领域的发展做出了卓越贡献。

Abstract Content:
- The abstract must be written in English.
- Limited to 250 words per section. The abstract should include 4 sections: Background/Aims, Methods, Results and Conclusion.
- Please note that word count is affected when tables/graphics are included. A table or a graphic equals 80 words and is included as part of the 1,000 words limit.
- Tables/Graphics should be of high resolution and have a file type of “jpg”, “gif”, or “png”.
- Keywords are optional and can be inputted maximum 3 keywords.
General Guidelines:
- The abstract must be written in English.
- Abstracts must be submitted through the online submission portal.
- Abstracts must be submitted no later than the deadline of 13 July 2024.
- Submission of abstracts of original research for presentation is welcomed.
- Submitted abstracts should not have been presented at any previous scientific / international meeting or been published in any local or international journal prior to the ACPID 2024.
- Previously presented abstracts that are updated with significant new findings may be submitted.
- All abstracts will be reviewed and scored by the Abstract Review Committee. An abstract may be accepted for oral or poster presentation, or it may be rejected.
- Abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in the proceedings, the website and the programme of the ACPID 2024.
- All presenters must register as a paid delegates before the early-bird registration deadline. Your presentation will NOT be included in the Final Programme if you fail to do so.
Awards:
Young Investigator Awards are designed to give young investigators, working in the field of pediatric infectious diseases, the opportunity to present their original research at the ACPID 2024.
- Application for the Young Investigator Award should be submitted during the online abstract submission
- Successful applicants must be under the age of 40 (born on or after 1984) and will be asked to submit a copy of an identification card to prove the date of birth.
- Winners of the award will receive a waiver of their congress registration fee.
The Outstanding Presentation Awards will be presented to the most accomplished oral and poster presentations at the ACPID 2024.
- All oral or poster presentations that are presented at the ACPID 2024 are considered eligible.
- Presentations will be considered for award based on outstanding scientific research, innovation and quality of presentation.
- Selected award winners will receive a certificate and monetary award. The awards will be presented during the ACPID 2024 Closing Ceremony.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee and in collaboration with the Hong Kong Society for Paediatric Immunology Allergy and Infectious Diseases (HKSPIAID), it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 11th Asian Congress of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (ACPID) which will be held in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, China from 13th to 15th December 2024.
The world and our lives were heavily struck by the COVID-19 pandemic in the past four years, despite the gradual return to normality after the COVID-19 pandemic, we are still experiencing upsurge of various viral and bacterial infections among children and adolescent population globally in this “post pandemic periods”. The challenge of prevention and treatment of SARS-CoV2 infection and its mutant strains is still ongoing while we also need to look for advances in the diagnosis and treatment of other prevailing and emerging infections. Asian Congress of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (ACPID 2024) is one of the most well-known and eagerly awaited conferences for the professionals to update and explore the issues in the field of pediatric infectious diseases in Asia. “United, Work Together for Our Children”「團結、合作為兒童」has been chosen as the theme of ACPID 2024. This Congress will be an exciting platform for in-depth discussion on the most recent advancements in the field and a place to meet with various experts in the world.
The ACPID 2024 Scientific Programme Committee has been working hard to prepare a rich and contemporaneous programme on the topics related to the congress theme. Please join us for an outstanding scientific meeting that will enrich all participants’ knowledge and enhance the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of pediatric infectious diseases for all children.
