How Do I Make and Submit a Video Presentation?

You can create two types of videos:
A – a recording of yourself while giving the presentation
B – a recording of your PowerPoint presentation with audio and video

A – How to record yourself while giving the presentation:

If you have a computer or phone with a built-in camera, the easiest way is to record yourself speaking directly into the camera and then download the file onto a computer using software such as Quicktime, Imovie, Windowsmedia, etc.

When recording your video, please make sure that you are well lit (natural daylight is best), and try to put your camera on the same level as your face, so you are not looking up or down in your recording. Please make sure that your background is simple and professional, and that there are no strong shadows on your face.
A tool that is very useful in making your recording is a teleprompter, so you can look at your computer screen while talking and not have to look down at a printed copy of your presentation. Here is one free, easy to use teleprompter: https://www.teleprompter-online.com

After you have recorded your presentation, please save and store your video in .mov or mp4 format, in as high a quality as possible. 

B – How to record your PowerPoint presentation with audio and video?

PowerPoint allows you to record the presentation displayed on the screen, including the video part, the audio acquired from the microphone, and the webcam connected to the computer.
