皇家儿科与儿童健康学院（RCPCH）源于1928年成立的英国儿科协会(BPA)，1996年获得皇家学院地位，现在全球拥有约20000名成员。RCPCH在研究生医学教育、专业标准、研究和政策等方面都发挥着重要作用，目标是通过研究、标准、质量改进和政策，改善全球儿童的健康，为世界各地的儿童和年轻人宣创造一个健康的未来。
